Matt Adamson has been tattooing since 2008, beginning his career in Newcastle in the North East of England before relocating to New York City almost a decade ago.
While versatile across many styles, Matt is best known for his distinctive approach to Neo-Traditional, American Traditional, and Japanese tattooing. His work combines bold composition, strong flow, and detailed illustration, drawing influence from both classic tattooing and traditional art forms.
Alongside tattooing, Matt is also the founder of Old Bones Society, a clothing brand rooted in tattoo culture. Outside of the studio, he regularly works on collaborative projects including merchandise, apparel, branding, and artwork for local businesses, events, and community-driven projects.
